Server running low TPS?

If your server is running low TPS, there can be many reasons for this: 
 
 Minecraft 
 
 
 
 Your Server View Distance and Simulation Distance are too high - try lowering them both to 10 or even 6 to reduce low tps 
 
 
 If you are running a modded server, one of your mods may be running a function every tick, this causes unwanted stress on your server, to diagnose which mod this could be, install the mod "Spark" onto your server, and run a spark profiler for 60 seconds 
 
 
 Too many plugins, Mods or Players for your plan. If you are running 100 plugins with 100 players on a 2GB Server for example, your server is bound to lag or even crash!
